Quality Engineer/ CMM

Seeking a Quality Engineer with a background in CMM Operation and Programming.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
• Quality Compliance of incoming, outgoing and in-process production material
• Efficient operation of the quality inspection process to meet or exceed production schedule
• Meet Quality schedule/requirements
• Identify, suggest & follow through on ideas for improvement in inspection techniques
• Work with management to achieve short and long term objectives in quality


SKILLS REQUIRED:

Test Engineer/ Supervisor

Seeking a candidate with 5+ years of working in a Test Lab wit prior leadership experience. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

Product Development and Improvement:
Performs necessary testing duties including: designing cost effective tests to substantiate performance relative to objectives, testing to substantiate performance characteristics (vibration, sound, stress/strain, temperature, compaction and others), and /or verifying computer simulations.
Performs Haz ID, FMEA, regulatory testing and created test protocols.

Technical Support Function:

Quality Technician

Seeking a 1st shift Quality Technician for our Grand Rapids operations. Essential job functions include:

Quality Assurance:
• Performs and documents receiving, 1st piece, in process, and final inspection and approval. Maintains inspection records and reports, including SPC records.
• Communicates quality information, provides feedback of issues to manufacturing team members (process techs, trim operators, secondary, supervisors, managers)
• Conducts and assists in completing Gage R & R and assists in gage calibration, data entry, and record keeping.
• Takes the lead and or assists in containing non-conforming material.
• Communicates nonconformance issues, issues hold tags, quality alerts, and closes when completed.
• Trains and certifies production associates on process and quality standards and conduct other training as required.
Quality Systems:
• Perform document control functions for the QMS that include: controlling, updating, and revising procedures, work instructions, forms, document lists and other required documents as necessary.
• Directs and or participates in the QMS internal Audits and LPA process for continuous improvement and compliance.
• Participates in and provides key data for management review and provides feedback to management team.
• Assists in developing, controlling, and issuing process or job related documentation.
• Monitors and communicates the status of the Quality Concerns log, hold tags, and quality alerts to facilitate on-time completion of any customer and supplier issues with the quality team.
• Access customer websites as needed.
• Any other requirement by the Quality Manager or General Manager.
New Product Development:
• Participates as required in new product planning, prior to production start up as an APQP team member.
• Assists as required with the preparation of preliminary inspection instructions, flow charts, and other necessary documents or procedures to assist plant associates in sample production and analysis.
• Leads or assists in developing a quality plan with material suppliers and purchasing to assure that quality standards and product specifications are maintained.
• Provides in the development of the internal quality plans, operator instructions, boundary samples, reporting form and SPC instructions.
• Participates with APQP team to aid incompliance to TS 16949 standards.

Materials Engineer

Materials Engineer
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible for the overall control and movement of materials in and out of the plant. Devises methods and policies ensuring most efficient and economical movement of all materials in and out of the plant.

DUTIES

1. Forecast's sales and production on daily, weekly and monthly schedules.
2. Maintains liaison among plants, sales divisions, and warehouses to provide efficient customer delivery service.
3. Ensures that company standard procedures are followed.
4. Analyzes and evaluates inventory and delivery problems and recommends solutions.
5. Required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties upon request of the Plant Manager.
