Location: Grand Haven
Pay: 75-110k
Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who can develop, implement and drive manufacturing standards in a CNC environment. This candidate will be responsible for:
-Improving processes no the manufacturing floor
-Programming of our CNC Equipment
-Managing projects as necessary
-Fixture Design
-Assist in the design and performing of various experiments on the product line to improve quality and consistency of the products
-Purchasing of capital equipment
-Contact suppliers regarding availability and technical performance of components and raw materials
-Working with fellow engineers in problem solving team and quality related design issues
-Design of tooling and gages for new processes
-Experience supporting ISO9000, AS9100 and ISO 14001 initiatives
The successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of managing projects in a fast paced environment with primary focus on developing new processes and innovative methods for manufacturing medical device components and assemblies. Candidates must have experience in a CNC environment working with high precision components. Automation design and implementation, Lean Manufacturing and basic CAD experience desired.
