Senior Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer for our operations in Caledonia, MI. If you have 5+ years of experience with heavy assembly and launching then you are asked to apply to this position.
Primary responsibilities:
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives on the production line.
- Troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing issues with cross-functional teams.
- Supporting production requirements by implementing new tooling and pieces of equipment.
- Managing projects and making recommendations based on studies and analysis.
- Performing return on investment calculations for different capital projects.
- Improving and supporting new and existing operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in engineering field required.
- Five (5+) years of heavy assembly experience.
- Project leadership experience required.
- Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
- Experience with metal fabrication a plus.
